Promised to love and cherish
Still somehow that love seemed to perish
"I do"
Inevitably was quick to fall through
How could I be so painfully naive
To think you ever loved me
You say it constantly
Along with "I'm so very sorry"
Next talk to me like I'm trash
Every time you lash
Out of anger
Eyes turning black,turning into that stranger
Into something I can only wish I could undo
Do you really love me or do you love the way I once loved you
